Axle Monitoring + TPMS. One System. Complete Protection.
The TWD-1500 is an axle temperature monitoring system and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in one. It watches both failure points that cause trailer breakdowns — overheating bearings and underinflated tires — in real time, on your phone, while you drive. Bluetooth 5 mesh networking, no-drill magnetic sensors, IP67 waterproof.
85% of trailer blowouts are preventable. The average roadside failure costs $1,800–$4,000. The TWD-1500 costs less than one service call.
No Repeaters. No Missed Broadcasts.
The TWD-1500 uses a Bluetooth 5 mesh listening network that ensures every TPMS sensor broadcast is heard — every time. Unlike traditional TPMS systems that rely on repeaters or boosters to extend range, the TWD-1500s mesh architecture picks up sensor data across your entire trailer without any additional hardware. Missed TPMS updates are a thing of the past.
Just Count Your Axles
Select your axle configuration below. Every package includes the TWD-1500 master unit, slave modules, magnetic axle temperature sensors, TPMS tire sensors, wire harness, and all mounting hardware.
Need Extra Length?
Standard harness is 35 feet. Select the extended harness option if your trailer is over 30 feet — adds 10 feet at no extra charge.

Key Features
Key Features
- Axle Temperature + TPMS in One System — the only product that monitors both failure points simultaneously
- Bluetooth 5 Mesh Listening Network — no repeaters, no boosters, no missed broadcasts
- TPMS sensors are rated for up to 250 PSI — The highest of any Bluetooth TPMS system on the market. Most budget systems cap at 87 PSI, and even premium RV systems top out around 188–232 PSI. This means the TWD-1500 works with every trailer tire on the road, including Class A RVs running 110 PSI, heavy commercial setups, and high-pressure specialty tires.
- No-Drill Magnetic Axle Sensors — mount in seconds with 30 lbs of magnetic force
- IP67 Waterproof — rain, mud, salt spray, boat ramp submersion
- Real-Time Smartphone Alerts — iOS and Android, runs in the background
- Intelligent Trend Analysis — spots patterns before failures happen

Why it Matters
Why it Matters
85% of trailer blowouts are preventable. 48% of roadside calls are tire-related. The average wheel-end failure costs $1,800–$4,000 in repairs and towing.
Most trailer owners don’t know there’s a problem until they smell burning rubber or feel a wobble. By then, the damage is done — blown tire, seized bearing, or worse.
The TWD-1500 catches what you can’t see or feel. It monitors axle temperature and tire pressure continuously while you drive, alerting you at the first sign of trouble. One prevented breakdown pays for the entire system.
Your trailer. Your cargo. Your family behind you on the road. That’s why it matters.

We had TWO axle fires in October 2025 on an 1800-mile trip. Our OEM TPMS didn't catch any warning signs. We were literally alerted to the fires by cars passing underneath because they weren't visible in our mirrors. Had we been able to see that axles were heating to failure, we could have stopped long before and avoided costly repairs.\n\nAfter replacing both axles with heavier duty ones, we researched a system that monitors actual axle temp as well as tire pressure and temperatures. After extensive research we settled on Trailer Watchdog. Installation was very simple, configuration effortless.\n\nNow we have peace of mind knowing we'll see a problem when it's minor — before it becomes deadly.\n\nThank you Alex for being such a wealth of information during our entire process!\n— Rick & Mary S., Flowery Branch GA
You need this, even if you think you don't. I bought a used boat and trailer last year, only to discover how badly maintained the three-axle trailer was. I tow a 7,000+ pound boat behind my truck, and discovered that the brakes weren't working at all. I bled the brakes and got them working again, only to find that now the brakes were dragging and overheating. After several trials and errors getting these brakes to work properly - and three times having to repack the bearings - I finally got everything sorted and working properly AFAIK, but I had developed severe PTSD paranoia whenever towing my boat. Then I discovered the TWD-1500 trailer monitoring system. Once I got it installed (pretty easy for a DIYer), when I towed my boat for the first time with this system, I finally had peace of mind. It provides real-time telemetry on axle temperature, as well as tire temperature and pressure. No more pulling off the side of the road every two miles and using my IR thermometer to take temperature measurements. No more wondering what, exactly, is going on back there. Immeasurable relief, and confidence, now that I can see exactly what's going on with each axle.
