1-Year Limited Warranty

TrailerWatchdog ("TWD") warrants to the original purchaser that each TWD product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

What We Cover

During the warranty period, TWD will, at our option, either repair or replace a defective product at no charge. This includes:

  • Sensor defects — sensors that fail to transmit, report incorrect readings, or stop functioning under normal conditions
  • Display unit defects — display units with hardware failures (screen issues, power failures, connectivity problems)
  • Antenna defects — antenna components that fail under normal use
  • Manufacturing defects — any defect arising from the manufacturing or assembly process

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear — battery depletion, minor cosmetic scratches, or degradation from normal use
  • Battery replacement — TPMS sensor batteries are consumable items and are not covered under warranty
  • Misuse or abuse — damage caused by improper installation, modification, accident, or use outside product specifications
  • Environmental damage — damage from exposure to chemicals, excessive heat beyond operating specifications, or physical damage from external sources
  • Unauthorized repairs — any product opened, modified, or repaired by anyone other than TWD or an authorized service provider
  • Consequential damages — TWD's liability is limited to the product itself; we are not responsible for towing-related damages, downtime, or incidental costs

How to Make a Claim

If you believe your TWD product is defective:

  1. Contact us — Email support@trailerwatchdog.com with your order number, product model, and a description of the issue
  2. Troubleshooting — Our team will work with you to diagnose the issue and determine if a repair or replacement is needed
  3. Return (if applicable) — If a return is required, we will provide a return authorization and shipping instructions
  4. Resolution — Once the defect is confirmed, we will ship a replacement or repaired unit at no charge

Proof of Purchase

To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase (order confirmation email, receipt, or order number from our website).

Warranty for Used Products

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
